Minggu 7 Mei 2017, MTV menggelar acara MTV Movie & TV Awards 2017 di Shrine Auditorium Los Angeles Amerika Serikat. Penghargaan tahunan ini dipandu oleh aktor dan komedian Adam Devine.

Acara diramaikan dengan penampilan dari Noah Cyrus, Pitbull, J Balvin, Camila Cabello dan Big Bean. Beauty and the Beast memenangkan Movie of the Year, sang host Adam DeVine menghibur para penonton dengan tampil sebagai Beast, ditemani oleh Hailey Steinfield yang mengenakan gaun kuning ala Belle. Rebel Wilson tak mau ketinggalan dengan menjadi tea pot dan menyanyikan Tale as Old as Time.
