Sinopsis “Calon Arang, nasibmu yang malang. Demi cinta menjadi geram, demi cinta dimusnahkan oleh pendeta.” - Toeti Heraty - Bercerita tentang seorang janda sakti bernama Calon Arang yang tinggal di desa Girah. Calon Arang adalah seorang penyihir yang sangat kuat dan ditakuti oleh seluruh warga desa. Suatu hari Barada mengutus muridnya Bahula untuk mengambil kitab yang digunakan oleh Calon Arang, dengan cara mendekati satu-satunya kelemahan Calon Arang yaitu Ratna Manggali, putri yang paling ia cintai.
