Early Life :
Zeenat Aman was born in 1951 in Mumbai to script writer, Amanullah Khan and Scinda. Actor Raza Murad is her cousin and she is the niece of actor Murad. She completed her schooling from Panchgani and further studies from University of Southern California, USA but did not complete her graduation. She worked as a journalist for Femina but left the job to pursue her modeling career. She was crowned as the second runner up in Miss India and won the Miss Asia Pacific contest in 1970.

Career Highlights :
Aman made her first on screen appearance with a role in Hulchul (1970) and another small role in Hungama (1971). She made her debut with the film Hare Rama Hare Krishna (1971) for which she won Filmfare award for Best Supporting Actress. Later she acted in films like Heera Panna (1973), Kalabaaz (1977), Lawaaris (1981), Yaadon Ki Kasam(1985) andGawahi (1989). In 1990s she acted in only one film Bhopal Express (1999). She was later seen making appearances in films again in the 2000s. Aman continued her acting career with the films Boom (2003), Sirf Romance: Love by Chance (2007) and Dunno Y...Na Jaane Kyon (2010). She was last seen in the film Strings of Passion (2014). She recently appeared in the film Dunno Y2... Life Is A Moment (2015). Her next film, Raees, is scheduled to release in 2016.
