Early life:
Robin Gayle Wright is an American actress and television director. Wright was born in Dallas, Texas. She was raised in San Diego, California. She attended La Jolla High School and Taft High School in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles.

Career Highlights:
Wright was listed as one of twelve Promising New Actors of 1986. She became famous on television, playing Kelly Capwell in the soap opera Santa Barbara. Her debut movie was Hollywood Vice Squad (1986). She was seen in movies like The Princess Bride (1987), Shes So Lovely (1997) and Beowulf (2007). Her other movies include A Christmas Carol (2009), Moneyball (2012), Adore (2013) and A Most Wanted Man (2014).She is currently working in the TV Series House of Cards. Her upcoming movie Everest is set to release in 2015.

- Robin won Golden Globe in 2014 for the TV Series House Of Cards.
