Early Life:
Jeffrey Leon Bridges, better known as Jeff Bridges is a veteran American actor, country musician and producer. He is the son of well-known actors Lloyd and Dorothy Bridges. Jeff first appeared in the television show Sea Hunt and went on to act in a few other television shows like The Lloyd Bridges Show and The Loner. His film debut was Silent Night, Lonely Night (1969).

Career Highlights:
Jeff worked in films like The Last Picture Show (1971), Bad Company (1972), The Iceman Cometh (1973) and King Kong (1976). He was also seen in commercially successful films like Heaven's Gate (1980), TRON (1982), Starman (1984) and The Fisher King (1991). Later on, Jeff turned producer with the films American Heart (1992) and Hidden in America (1996). A few of his notable works include The Big Lebowski (1998), The Contender (2000), Seabiscuit (2003) and Iron Man (2008). Jeff delivered a spectacular performance in the film Crazy Heart (2009) for which he received both an Academy Award as well as a Golden Globe. A few of his recent releases include TRON: Legacy (2010), True Grit (2010), R.I.P.D. (2013) and The Giver (2014). In his long and illustrious career, Jeff has been nominated to the Oscars six times. He now has the film Seventh Son lined up.
