Dwayne Johnson dikenal sebagai The Rock di arena gulat WWE. The Rock memulai debut bergulatnya pada tahun 1996 dan berhenti pada tahun 2001. Pada tahun 2011, ia muncul kembali di program WWE Monday Night RAW dan WrestleMania XXVII. Johnson telah mendapatkan 6 kali sabuk WWE Champion. Di WWE, Johnson menjadi rival berat seorang pegulat professional, yaitu Steve Austin yang biasa disebut Stone Cold.
