SYNOPSIS
A collaborative album uniting indigenous musicians sharing an ancient seafaring ancestry across the Pacific & Indian Oceans. Composed, recorded and overdubbed in nature, on the artists' custodial land, using only traditional instruments and languages, creating a contemporary and relevant epic musical statement in the face of Climate Change.

From the Dayak peoples Sape' recorded in the rainforests of Sarawak with a Papua New Guinean bamboo ensemble on a remote Bougainville beach, from the Maori Taonga Puoro recorded in the last strand of Aotearoas native forest mixed with Taiwanese Indigenous harmonies, from Rapa Nuis Jaiwaian reggae set amongst standing stones playing with an uplifting Kompang group from Singapore!

An Oceanic Songline featuring over a hundred musicians across 16 islands of Pacific & Indian Oceans.
Director: Tim Cole
